We just celebrated our wedding at the Grand Velas Riviera Maya on March 11, 2011 and we could not be happier. Thanks to the help of Pamela Zerecero Catzalco (our wedding coordinator) it was an absolutely amazing day and a time we will never forget. Since the very moment we & our guests arrived (21 group total) we were blown away not only by the property as the decor and architecture is absolutely breathtaking but also by the exceptional level of service we received from EVERYONE from the moment we arrived. We could not have chosen a better place - the food (presentation and taste), the decor, the service, the suites, amenities - we could not have imagined a better place and cannot wait to return. From the moment we checked in to our departure we were absolutely blown away. I do not know how to begin to thank Pamela - our wedding day was what we envisioned and so much more. Ms. Campillo, I just wanted to tell you thank you so much for the wedding of my dreams. I'm so sorry I waited two months to write you, my schedule has been so crazy! I was always confident in you but you exceeded every single one of my expectations. You handled everything perfectly and made my special day completely stress free. From the ceremony to the centerpieces to the music, everything was perfect. The wait staff was absolutely amazing. I could not have asked for a more beautiful wedding and I have you to thank for that. I will always remember that day and I'm so grateful to have had someone like you as my wedding coordinator. As you know, we are bigfans of Grand Velas and have been for years. The new resort truly remarkable - there is nothing of it's size that compares anywhere in the Caribbean. The infrastructure, the staff - and the training they have received - and above all the dining experiences make the resort truly one of a kind. We have not had a single customer who has come away disappointed - whether as individuals or members of a group. All have said that they loof forward to returning.
