Everyone here is welcoming and delightful. Our stay was our best vacation ever. Each restaurant was perfect, we could have eaten, the whole week at anyone! The spa was incomparable water journey and massage were perfect. Compliment everyone for achieving perfection in a resort.

I have recently returned from a vacation at Grand Velas. I am writing to express how amazing the resort was and to extend appreciation to all for making our vacation so wonderful. I travelled with my husband and 17 month old daughter. The room was perfect with plenty of space and amenities. The beach was amazing and the pool was absolutely gorgeous as well. I have travelled to many resorts and I have found the service to be like no other at this resort. All staff I had encountered were wonderful and did everything to meet our needs and to make us feel welcome. Omar and Rosemary at Azul were particularily kind to my family, especially my little girl, Maya. We appreciated this so much! I hope someday we will have the opportunity to return. Thank you for excellent service in excellent ambience! I have to say, I travel and teach in the world's most beautiful spas and this one is truly amazing, along with all service and staff of the resort.

It took our Swedish family (girls 3 + 7) 20 hours door-to-door to get to Grand Velas - exhausted upon arrival. Were greeted in a perfect way and swiftly brought to our huge Ambassador suite - on top floor and away from the main pool, precisely as requested. It was dark, we just stumbled to bed (fantastic beds etc!), and awoke at 6 a.m to enjoy the sunrise from the beautiful balcony. Walking to Azul for breakfast, past the gorgeous main pool area, made everyone jump with joy - couldn''t resist checking if the sand on the beach was really as soft and perfect as it looked. It was. Breakfast was a pleasure every day - impeccable service and so delicious! Spent most days at the main pool area (no problem getting sunbeds etc), lunch often at the pool bar (Arsenio was great!) - quick service and delicious, with fantastic beach view and breeze! Agree with everyone else: food, service etc fantastic. Best thing: The airy, luscious, elegant but yet laid back feel of the place!
