We ate at three of the resaurants, Fridas, Piafs, and the Bistro. The food was excellent. The service at the restaurants excellent. Even room service was great. If suggesting in one of these restaurants I would truly go to Frida's. We dined there twice.
From the moment we came thru the magnificent gates to the welcoming in the lobby where we were were seated and greated while checking in. Our room took our breath away and when we looked out the window we realized this was going to be an incredible vacation. The employees were so kind and genuinely concerned about making our trip magnificent. Every restaurant was one of a kind with menus and service out of this world. The canolis were better then when we were in Italy. The pool service waiters were always so enthusiastic on what specialty drinks to have. All the beach boys especially Ivan were so service oriented and caring of our needs and what watersports to do it was amazing. We have been to many many lst class resorts but none have compared to Las Velas. The beauty and elegence of the hotel was so appreciated and the Kareoke room and bartenders were remarkable. My husband and I just returned from your wonderful resort after celebrating our anniversary there. The staff and service were absolutely impeccable. I will be returning in just 6 weeks with my sister. It is her birthday and our experience was so wonderful that I just had to give her this as a thank-you for caring for our children while we were away for our anniversary. My husband''s parents our celebrating their 50th anniversary on Dec. 26th and we are trying now to arrange a complete family reunion and celebration at your wonderful resort as well. Can you tell how much we liked it?? Thanks to Vanessa (our concierge), Karim Curioca (fabulous server at Azul), Ramon (at Autor) and especially Juan Manuel, Guillermo,Juan Ernesto and Humberto at the adults only pool. They are the best of the best!!! I just cannot wait to bring my sister back on August 29th. She is going to love it as well!
