Took our adult children and grandchildren for the week over Thanksgiving. We were 14 in all. ages ranging from 70 to 5. We all have vacationed extensively before and was very apprehensive about the outcome of this reunion. My kids came from LA, Chicago, New York and we now live in Boca.From the time we were picked up at Cancun airport until the time we brought back to go to our respective home flights, there was not one complaint. The service, the food, the amenities were all perfect. The 24 hour room service was 5 star rating, if you were not full from the wonderful food served at all the restaurants. Our younger grandchildren loved the kids and teen club. The dedicated staff there are remarkable. There are not enough good adjectives to describe Grand Velas. The only comment from my 40 year olds was not any night life except the karaoke bar. They went into Playa Del Carmen. I would recommend this resort to any and all age groups. We were at the Ambassador and Gran Class. Perfect for our family.

Our stay at the Grand Velas far surpassed any other experience we have had at any other resort we have stayed at in Mexico or anywhere else in the world. The service was exceptional, the food was amazing, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the resort is absolutely beautiful. We could not think of one thing the staff could have done to make our stay any better. The Grand Velas Riviera Maya is truly like no other resort.

This has been by far the greatest vacation we have had. The staff , food, Everyone was amazing! I am very picky about hotel cleanliness and before we got there I was worried. But when we came into our room and I a chance to meet the maid, I was in heaven. It was the first time I was not thinking about how really clean everything was - because it was awesome.

The "Grand" in Grand Velas is an understatement! What a great place, food was awesome, and the service impeccable. If you visit, you will want to meet Julio and Allessio, they stood out above the best in service!
